Phuket Scuba Trip - King Cruiser, Koh Doc Mai, Shark Point
Phuket Scuba Trip - King Cruiser, Koh Doc Mai, Shark Point
Trip Name: Phuket Scuba Trip - King Cruiser, Koh Doc Mai, Shark Point
Highlights:
- Don’t hesitate! If you have not dived King Cruiser, Shark Point & Koh Doc Mai you are missing out on some incredible reef, wreck and cave diving. The King Cruiser is Phuket’s best artificial reef, swarming with fish and nudibranch life and rare and wonderful bottom dwelling sharks.
- The first dive at the King Cruiser, this is usually the deepest dive of the day as the bottom of the cruiser lies at 33m the top at 18m. Second dive we go to Shark Point where you have the option of three amazing anemone and coral covered pinnacles to explore. The third and final dive of the day will be at Koh Doc Mai where you can explore two large and easily accessible caves that have a few hidden secrets.
- Marine lives such as yellow barracuda tail and scorpionfish
If you have not been diving on the King Cruiser Wreck you are missing out on diving one of the most easily accessible and truly alive wrecks in Thailand and by far the largest wreck we have here. There is also no chance of missing the wreck as we have a mooring line attached to it. Allowing divers to descend easily even in strong currents and a great way to do your safety stops. The Cruiser is 86 Meters long and some days it’s hard to see it because of the swarming snapper, barracuda and other schooling fish life. Massive Mangrove Snapper and Grouper hide out in the wreckage and nudibranch’s like Doriprismatica atromarginata cover the wreck.
Beyond the King Cruiser we have Shark Point, 3 underwater pinnacles with a spectacular array of life and famed for Tiger Tail Sea Horses and Leopard Sharks, not to mention stingrays, bent stick pipe fish and every type of moray and scorpion fish you can think of. Still not sold, well don’t forget we also have Koh Doc Mai, a spectacular wall dive that also has two easily accessible caves, one large, one small, both with a few nice hidden secrets, remember to ask your guides.
